An Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is essentially a high-powered battery. This UPS has three main parts: a power converter (AC-DC), a battery, and an inverter. Its job is to provide a steady and reliable flow of electricity. If the power coming in is too high or too low, the UPS evens it out, preventing sudden spikes or drops that could damage your equipment. Battery
The amount of time the UPS can provide power depends on how much electricity your devices are using.
Half load (450 watts or 500VA): Runs for about 15 minutes
Full load (900 watts or 1000VA): Runs for about 5 minutes
For example, if you connect devices that use 450 watts (which is half of the UPS’s capacity), it will last 15 minutes. If you use the full 900 watts, it will run for 5 minutes before the battery is drained.
